Details of A Book of Answers to Teachers' Questions About Sensory Coordination :Disorders
- The book "Answers to Teachers' Questions about Sensory Integration Disorders" represents a specialized addition to the series of Arabic references on the subject of sensory processing/sensory integration disorders, a topic lacking in our literary heritage and libraries in Arab societies. The two translators had the honor of publishing the foundational reference, "The ABCs of Hidden Disabilities - Sensory Coordination Disorders," the first Arabic reference on its subject, which, by the grace of God, won the Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Award for Authors in 2014. This was followed by a translation of a third reference, "Temple Speaks About Autism and Sensory Aspects." The book presents real-life situations and personal experiences of the international expert and researcher, Dr. Temple Grandin, who herself suffered from these disorders and has numerous related references, films, and therapeutic discoveries. The two researchers were keen to translate this reference to contribute to spreading education and awareness about sensory processing disorders, based on the close relationship and direct impact of these disorders on children's development, behavior, and interaction in the educational environment, thus ensuring the quality of educational outcomes.
